Biog>
Dancer and choreographer. She danced with the contemporary Ballet of the San Martin General Theater under the direction of Oscar Araiz. She also worked as an actress in the play Recuerdos de una vieja leyenda, directed by Augusto Fernández. She obtained a scholarship granted by the Goethe Institute to study in the Folkwang Tanz Schule (Germany). There she danced with the F. T. S. Company under the artistic direction of Pina Bausch, where she worked with choreographers such as Bausch, Susanne Linke and Urs Dietrich, among others.
Diana interpreted and carried out the realization of the piece Cielosiena, then choreographed the play Mediocielo for Julio Bocca´s Argentinian Ballet. She also created the play Secreto y Malibú, with which she realized tours through Europe, America and Asia. For this play she received the first prize of the Festival of Theater 2001, first prize of the Metropolitan Contest of the City of Buenos Aires, prize Theater of the World, granted by the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters and a nomination for the prizes Trinity Guevara in the category of female revelation. She realized the choreography A la hora de oro for the Ballet of the San Martin Theater for which she received the prize Trinity Guevara to the best choreography in the year 2003.
For the Experimentation Center of the Colón Theater, she created the play 34 meters and for the same center a choreographic video on Kagel´s musical work “Alaska” her last peace, premiered in 2007, in the Konex Art Center, Buenos Aires, Argentina, has been selected by NPN (National Performence Network) to make a tour throug USA in 2008. It has also partecepated in the Teatro a mil Festival (Chile). The peace has been selected by the Jury of CINARS (Canada). This peace participate at the Feria de San Sebastian (España) and at the Festival in Madrid 2009
For the TACEC (Experimental center of the Argentino de la Plata theater) She did her last work call “La mesa es un pedazo de Madera” in dicember 2009
She assiduously dictates technic and composition classes in Buenos Aires and the interior of the country.
